Loopy Lisa is Lisa Hodgson, who produces her range of 37 unique, handmade fudge flavours at her fudge kitchen near Bishop Auckland in County Durham. Loopy Lisa’s fudges are made using only top-quality ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible. Her recipes are adapted from a traditional Women’s Institute template, using all butter and evaporated milk. Only natural ingredients are used to flavour the fudges, with no colourings, preservatives or artificial flavourings added. There is no difference between the way Lisa’s fudges are made, and the way you would produce them at home – she just makes lots more! The only machinery in Lisa’s fudge kitchen is a set of weighing scales. Lisa launched her business in 2004, starting out by making the sweets in her kitchen at home in Loop Lane, Butterknowle, County Durham. Hence the reason for the name Loopy Lisa, although most people think the name stems from Lisa’s own personality!. |
